産学連携によるファー商品開発プロジェクト

太平洋貿易株式会社では、日本有数のファッション専門学校「大阪モード学園」の学生をお招きし、産学連携によるファー商品の共同開発プロジェクトをスタートいたしました。
本取り組みは、次世代のファッション業界を担う若いクリエイターたちと共に、リアルファーの可能性を再発見し、新しい価値を創造することを目的としています。学生の自由な発想と、当社が長年培ってきた素材知識や製品化ノウハウを融合させることで、これまでにない革新的なアイテムの誕生を目指しています。
制作過程では、実際の素材選定からデザイン提案、製品化に至るまでを学生自身が体験。リアルな商品開発の現場を通じて、実践的な学びを得られる貴重な機会となっています。
今後も太平洋貿易株式会社は、教育機関との連携を通じてファッション業界の発展に貢献するとともに、持続可能なものづくりと次世代育成に取り組んでまいります。

Industry-Academia Collaboration Project for Fur Product Development

Pacific Ocean Trading Co., Ltd. (PACO) has launched a collaborative product development project with students from Osaka Mode Gakuen, one of Japan’s premier fashion vocational schools.
This initiative aims to rediscover the creative possibilities of real fur and generate new value by fusing the fresh ideas of aspiring fashion designers with PACO’s extensive expertise in material selection and product development.
Students participate in every stage of the process—from selecting raw materials to proposing designs and finalizing products—offering them valuable hands-on experience in real-world fashion manufacturing.
PACO remains dedicated to supporting the next generation of fashion professionals and promoting sustainable, innovative craftsmanship through ongoing partnerships with educational institutions.

2025年6月20日、太平洋貿易株式会社と大阪モード学園との間で、ファー商品開発における産学連携プロジェクトの第3回ミーティングが開催されました。
今回は、学生の皆様が企画したデザイン案の中から実際に製品化を目指すアイテムを選定する重要なステップとして、当社社員がイメージに合ったリアルファー素材のサンプルを提示し、学生に実際に手に取ってご覧いただきながら素材選びを行いました。
その後、選定された企画に基づいて最終的な商品案を確定し、ファーストサンプル製作に着手。いよいよ本格的な商品開発フェーズへと進む形となりました。
学生の自由な発想と当社の素材・技術力が融合し、次なるステージへと進む本プロジェクト。完成に向けた今後の展開に、ますますご期待ください。

On June 20, 2025, the third meeting of the fur product development project between Pacific Ocean Trading Co., Ltd. (PACO) and Osaka Mode Gakuen was held.
In this session, we moved into a crucial phase of the project—selecting which of the initial student design proposals would move forward to production. PACO staff presented a range of real fur material samples that matched the design concepts, allowing students to examine and choose materials that best suited their creative vision.
Following the material selection, final products for development were determined, and the first sample production phase officially began—marking a significant step forward into the actual manufacturing process.
This project continues to evolve by combining the students’ fresh ideas with PACO’s material expertise and technical capabilities. We look forward to the next stages of development and the exciting outcomes to come.

2025年5月30日、太平洋貿易株式会社と大阪モード学園との間で、産学連携によるファー商品開発プロジェクトの第2回ミーティングが行われました。
今回のミーティングでは、前回のディスカッションを踏まえて、大阪モード学園の学生の皆様が考案したデザインの草案を持ち寄り、弊社社員との間で活発な意見交換が行われました。
素材の特性や製品化に向けた現実的な視点など、実務に基づくフィードバックを通じて、学生のアイデアがさらに磨かれる有意義な機会となりました。
今後も学生ならではの感性と、当社の知見を掛け合わせた、実現性の高い商品開発を目指してプロジェクトを進めてまいります。

On May 30, 2025, the second meeting of the collaborative fur product development project between Pacific Ocean Trading Co., Ltd. (PACO) and Osaka Mode Gakuen was held.
Building on the discussions from the first meeting, students from Osaka Mode Gakuen brought initial design proposals to the session. They engaged in active exchanges of ideas with PACO staff, receiving practical feedback based on material characteristics and real-world production considerations.
The meeting proved to be a valuable opportunity for students to further refine their ideas, combining creative expression with commercial feasibility.
PACO will continue to advance the project with the aim of developing highly practical and innovative products that merge student creativity with our industry expertise.

2025年5月9日、大阪モード学園の講師および生徒の皆様をお招きし、産学連携によるファー商品開発プロジェクトの第1回ミーティングを開催いたしました。
当日は、本プロジェクトの趣旨およびコンセプトについての説明を行うとともに、弊社が取り扱うリアルファー素材を使用したサンプル商品を実際に見ていただきながら、商品の世界観やアイデアを膨らませていただく時間を設けました。
学生の皆様からは早くも多くの関心と感想が寄せられ、今後の共同開発への期待が高まるスタートとなりました。

On May 9, 2025, we held the first meeting of our industry-academia collaborative fur product development project, welcoming instructors and students from Osaka Mode Gakuen.
During the meeting, we presented the purpose and concept of the project and provided an opportunity for participants to see and touch sample products made with real fur materials handled by our company. This allowed them to expand their ideas and envision the potential of the products.
The students showed strong interest and shared many impressions, marking a promising start to the collaborative development ahead.
