太平洋貿易（PACO）が長年にわたり培ってきた毛皮素材の知見と、日本の熟練職人の技が出会い、ひとつの革新的なプロジェクトが始まりました。
素材と真摯に向き合い、理想をかたちにするまでに費やした歳月はおよそ二年。
その間、私たちは幾度となく対話を重ね、試作を繰り返しながら「今までにない、新しい財布」を創り上げてきました。
素材選びの繊細さ、職人技の精度、そして一切の妥協を許さないものづくりの精神。
そのすべてが結実したのが、今回のコラボレーションによって生まれた唯一無二の財布です。

A completely new product by PACO and Japanese craftsmen

This collaboration began with a meeting between Pacific Ocean Trading (PACO)’s refined expertise in fur materials and the timeless craftsmanship of Japanese artisans.
Over the course of two years, we engaged in deep dialogue, countless prototypes, and shared challenges—pursuing a vision of creating a wallet unlike any seen before.
From the meticulous selection of materials to the uncompromising dedication to craftsmanship, every detail reflects our pursuit of excellence.
The result is a truly one-of-a-kind product—born from nature, perfected by hand.

第一部：出会いと誕生までの軌跡

PACOが大切にしてきた毛皮素材と、日本の熟練職人との出会い――
それは偶然ではなく、品質と美意識を追求する者同士が、自然と引き寄せられた必然の出会いでした。


素材の個性を最大限に生かすためには、技術だけでなく、深い理解と対話が必要でした。
職人の手によって素材に命が宿り、それを形ある製品へと昇華させるまでには、幾度もの試作と試行錯誤を重ねる日々が続きました。


そして、構想からおよそ二年。
時間を惜しまず丁寧に向き合い続けたことで、ようやく理想のかたちが現実のものとなったのです。

To fully unlock the character of each material, more than technical skill was required; it demanded deep understanding, ongoing dialogue, and a shared vision.
Days were spent in countless trials, revisions, and hands-on development, as both sides sought the perfect balance between form and function.

After nearly two years of dedicated collaboration, our vision has finally taken form.
The result is a product born not of haste, but of patience, intention, and craftsmanship.

第二部：素材へのこだわり

完成度の高い製品を目指すうえで、もっとも重要なのが「素材選び」でした。
PACOが長年扱ってきた毛皮の中には、個性豊かな表情を持つものが数多くありますが、すべてが財布づくりに適しているわけではありません。


毛先が長すぎれば、縫製機にうまく通らず、加工そのものが困難になります。
反対に、毛が短すぎれば毛皮特有の立体感や柔らかな風合いが損なわれてしまう――その絶妙なバランスを見極めるために、何度も素材を吟味し、実際に手に取り、試作を重ねました。


「毛皮の美しさ」と「製品としての機能性」。
その両立を追い求め、私たちは最適な一本を探し出しました。
それは、見た目だけでなく、使うたびに手に馴染み、日常に寄り添う“上質な存在”としての素材です。

Part 2: Our Commitment to Materials

Among the many distinctive fur materials that PACO has carefully curated over the years, only a select few are truly suitable for wallet creation.
Finding the perfect balance was a delicate process—fur that was too long would tangle in the sewing machines, while fur that was too short would lose the rich texture and dimensional beauty unique to natural pelts.

We meticulously examined each piece, touching, testing, and evaluating every possibility.
Through repeated prototyping and refinement, we finally arrived at the ideal choice.

This is a material that not only looks beautiful, but also functions beautifully—one that embraces the hand, enriches daily life, and carries the quiet dignity of genuine luxury.

第三部：完成された唯一無二のかたち

幾度もの対話と試作を経て、ようやくかたちとなった私たちの財布。
その仕上げには、内側にしなやかで高耐久なイタリアンレザーを採用し、ファスナーにはYKKが誇る最高級モデルを使用することで、見た目の美しさと機能性を兼ね備えた完成度を追求しました。


そして何より、この製品には「同じものが二つと存在しない」という特別な価値があります。
天然の毛皮を使用しているため、一枚ごとに表情や質感が異なり、まさに世界に一つだけの個体として手元に届きます。
それは、機械では決して再現できない自然素材ならではの美しさと、職人の手仕事が融合した“唯一無二”の証です。


また、製作の過程で生じた毛皮の端材も、無駄にすることなくすべて弊社に返却されました。
限りある資源を大切にし、ひとつの素材を最後まで使い切るという姿勢もまた、このプロジェクトに込められた誇りのひとつです。


私たちにしか生み出せない製品。
それは、素材、技、想い――すべてを注ぎ込んだからこそ実現した、真のプロダクトアウトです。

Part 3: A Singular Product, Completed

At last, the form we envisioned has taken shape.
The inner lining is finished with supple, durable Italian leather, while the zipper features YKK’s highest-grade model—an uncompromising combination of elegance and performance.

And above all, no two of these wallets are ever the same.
Because each fur is a product of nature, every finished piece has its own unique texture and pattern. These are truly one-of-a-kind items, never to be exactly replicated—a testament to both natural beauty and artisan skill.

Furthermore, any leftover material from production is not discarded. Every offcut is returned to PACO, in respect for the value of each hide and our shared commitment to sustainability.

This is a product only we could create—born from material, technique, and passion, and brought into the world through true product-out thinking.
